The test
You typically receive your invitation 2 to 4 weeks before the exam. With CanCitiPrep, you can prepare effectively in just a few days with our 770 questions based on Discover Canada.
The official exam has 20 multiple-choice questions. You need at least 15 correct answers (75%) to pass. CanCitiPrep simulates exactly this format.
Every question is based on the official guide, Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship. Nothing on the test comes from outside that booklet.
You can take the exam in French or English, your choice. CanCitiPrep offers all 770 questions in both languages with the ability to switch at any time.
You have up to 3 attempts within your 30-day test period. If you fail 3 times, you'll be invited to a hearing with a citizenship officer where you'll need to answer oral questions.
The official test is 45 minutes and auto-submits when time is up. CanCitiPrep also uses the 45-minute limit to simulate real test conditions.
